Salem, OREGON - Following their recent road trip to Oregon for matches against Southwest Oregon and Lane, the Clippers headed to Salem, Oregon for a match-up against the Chemeketa Community College Storm. South Puget Sound, who are coming off back-to-back ties against SWOCC and Lane, fell behind early as the Storm found the back of the net in the 19th minute. The match changed when Erik Olvera connected on a free kick during the 25th minute to even the score at 1-1.
The match would stay tied as they entered halftime, but halfway through the second half, Edwin Quintana scored an unassisted goal to put the Clippers up 2-1. South Puget Sound would hold on to secure the victory and Coach Sampson praised Erik Olvera's play for both his free-kick goal as well as a key goal line clearance. Olvera was named the Clipper's Man of the Match.

The Clippers return home on Saturday to host Rogue Community College at 12:00 PM. The match will take place at the Regional Athletic Complex in Lacey and will stream live on the Veo Live application.
